How do I contact the church?
Phone the Pastor on 0404 489 878 and he will be more than happy to help. If he cannot help you personally, he will put you in contact with the person most likely to be able to assist.

I am planning my first visit to the church. Any helpful hints?
First time visitors are a wonderful blessing to us. As soon as you enter the building there will be people at the rear with a “Visitor’s Assistant” badge on. These are your ‘go to’ people. They will help you with directions to Nursery if needed, a seat in the main auditorium, any questions you may have about our church here in Parramatta, and any other assistance you may need.

What is a TGIF Team?
TGIF is the name we give to our Home Bible Study Teams. These are held on two Fridays every month – hence the ‘Thank God it’s Friday.’ It also stands for ‘Training Gospel Infantry and Fellowship’ which is closer to how these teams work.

In the context of a smaller group, members will grow in their relationship with Jesus and their knowledge of His word, and also be challenged to reach out to people in their own relational network.

We hold TGIF meetings in five different locations around Parramatta. Please call for the one closest to you.

How can I serve at The Potter’s House?
As this web site shows, we have a multitude of ministry opportunities available here within our congregation for qualified and faithful church members and their families. Please see the pastor, or any one of the “Visitor’s Assistants” for questions regarding ministry opportunities and qualifications.

What if I have a Prayer request?
There is paper and pens on the table at the rear of the building. Please write out your prayer request and hand it to one of our “Visitor’s Assistant” who will get it to the Pastor. It will be read out during the corporate prayer requests during the service and the entire congregation can pray for the need.

Please keep us updated on answers to your prayer requests!

Who should I contact to find out about being baptised?
We regularly schedule water baptisms throughout the year. Please contact the Pastor, a TGIF Leader, or a “Visitor’s Assistant” to find out when the next one is scheduled and what may be required of you beforehand.

Who should I contact to have my baby dedicated?
Please contact the Pastor for baby dedication requests..

How can I get a copy of the Pastor’s sermons or Sunday Schools?
All sermons and Sunday Schools are recorded and can be ordered as CDs or MP3s at the sound desk at the rear of the building.
